University & Career Counseling

In this spirit, we are proud to announce the launch of our University & Career Counseling Program for the year 25/26, led by Mr. Omar el Moukaddem (Principal) and assisted by Ms. Lama Moukaddem (Psychologist).

This comprehensive program will accompany our students from Grade 10 to Grade 12, ensuring that every learner walks out of Cedars High School with a clear sense of purpose, direction, and readiness for the future.

Program Overview by Grade

Grade 10: Building Awareness and Direction

• Helping students understand the importance of Grade 10 and the long-term impact of their choices at this stage on their university and career future
• Introducing local and global university systems and career pathways
• Guidance on choosing between Scientific and Humanities streams
• Aptitude and assessments of interest
• Initial self-discovery sessions and discussions about strengths, passions, and future ambitions

Grade 11: Preparing the Path

• Guidance on selecting subjects/branches aligned with career goals
• SAT and other standardized test preparation guidance
• One-on-one counseling sessions to explore fields of study
• Support in shortlisting target universities and countries
• Exposure to various career fields through guest speakers and workshops
• Visits to local universities and career fairs to explore real-world opportunities

Grade 12: Guiding Every Step

• One-on-one counseling sessions to refine university and career choices
• One-on-one support with university applications and essays
• Guidance with recommendation letters and required documents
• Assistance with deadlines, scholarships, and financial aid forms
• Follow-up on university responses and admissions decisions
• Visits to local universities and career fairs to explore real-world opportunities
