Sports and Athletics
Fostering Teamwork, Discipline, and Excellence Through Physical Activity
At Cedars High School, sports are more than just games; they are a vital part of our culture and curriculum. We believe in nurturing athletes, promoting teamwork, and fostering a love for physical activity that lasts a lifetime.
Our state-of-the-art facilities include a basketball court, football field, volleyball court, and table tennis area, ensuring that every student has the opportunity to explore their athletic passions. As part of our curriculum, all classes dedicate two hours per week to Physical Education, encouraging students to stay active, develop skills, and embrace a healthy lifestyle.
During recess, our campus comes alive with energy as students engage in friendly matches, practice their skills, and enjoy the thrill of competition. We take pride in our school teams, which compete in a variety of sports. With dedicated after-school training sessions, our athletes enhance their abilities and represent Cedars in numerous competitions, including the prestigious inter-school tournaments organized by the Ministry of Education.
Throughout the year, we host two major annual sports events that bring our community together:
- The Easter Sports Festival, a celebration of athleticism and school spirit.
- The Open House Interclass Competitions, where students showcase their talents and compete in a fun, supportive environment.
At Cedars, we don’t just encourage sports; we nurture athletes. Whether you’re a seasoned player or just discovering your love for the game, there’s a place for you here.
